Shawls of Manila
Shawls are the
most representative fashion accessory of the Spanish woman
throughout our history and customs.
 |
The Spanish
Shawl was handmade in China of natural silk colourfully
embroidered with flowers and foliage having silk macramé
fringe. |

During the XIX century
shawls were shipped to Spain and South America, becoming
a popular costume used for women in theatre, bullfighting
or parties.
